SELPA Steering Committee

The Steering Committee is made up of administrators of special education programs from member school districts and charter schools (also known as local education agencies) in our SELPAs. This committee examines program issues and staffing needs, and advises the CAHELP Governance Council regarding the adoption of the Annual Service Plan. If necessary, this committee may be requested to provide advice or assistance to the Governance Council in other areas as needs are identified.

Each SELPA has a Steering Committee that meets on a regular basis and is chaired by the CAHELP CEO.
