Low Incidence

Introduction

Low incidence disability is a severe disabling condition with an expected incidence rate of less than one percent of the total statewide enrollment in special education. Low incidence disabilities are:

  • Hard of Hearing (HH)
  • Deafness (Deaf)
  • Visual Impairments (VI)
  • Orthopedic Impairments (OI)
  • Deaf-Blindness (DB)
