Description
Large Group Time Instruction is a traditional part of the daily routine in an early childhood classroom. It builds a sense of community where the whole class comes together for movement and music activities, interactive storytelling, and other shared experiences.
The AM session will focus on the importance of large group instruction and offer concrete, developmentally appropriate strategies to keep all students engaged.
The PM session will be hands-on and interactive. We will explore the logistical components of Large Group Time Instruction as we practice together with music, movement, and props.
Audience: Early childhood special education teachers, general education early childhood PK - first grade teachers, and paraprofessionals.
